Lock The Desktop
Show Desktop
Open Start Menu
Close Pop Up Window
Rename an Icon


Disable CD Autorun
1) Click Start, Run and type GPEDIT.MSC, press enter
2) Go to Computer Configuration, Administrative Templates, System.
3) Locate the entry for Turn autoplay off and modify it as you desire.

 Use Tab to Move Between Programs
1) Press Alt and Tab keys
2) Hold Down Alt while Pressing TAB to switch between Programs
3) Release both buttons to go to selected program

How to make your Desktop Icons Transparent
1) Go to Control Panel > System, > Advanced > Performance area > Settings button Visual Effects tab "Use drop shadows for icon labels on the Desktop"

Lock The Desktop
1) Press the Windows key and the L key (WinKey+L) at the same time.
Additionally, you can create a new shortcut which locks the Desktop by doing the following
1) Right Click on Desktop, got to New, Then choose Shortcut, copy the following command line:
rundll32.exe user32.dll,LockWorkStation
2) Hit Next, then Give your Shortcut a name (like 'Lock Desktop') and Click Finish

Show Desktop/ Minimize All Windows
1) Press Windows Key and the D Key (WinKey+D) at the same time
2) This will minimize all windows and show you the desktop.

Open Start Menu
1) If you have a keyboard with a Windows Key just press it and release without hitting any other keys
2) If you don't have a Windows Key, press CTRL+ESC
