Blackberry Ending Mail Connector Support January 28, 2008
RIM (Research In Motion) is the parent company that develops supplies Blackberry devices to the world. In their infinite wisdom they have decided to stop supporting their Mail Connector software as of January 28, 2008. What does this mean for you? Well it very well might mean that come that date you will no longer get your work emails to your Blackberry. That is how I get my emails. What to do? Fear not , Oxford Network Solutions has you covered. There are a few options, - If you use and Exchange server in your company, as many of our clients do, we can install BlackBerry Professional Software Express. This is probably the best solution for you if you have an Exchange server if you don't you will have to use one of the options below
- Integrate your email using BlackBerry® Internet Service if you are using Outlook® Web Access
- Forward your email to your BlackBerry device email address using auto-forwarding
- Download BlackBerry Desktop Software and use the Desktop Redirector to send mail to your BlackBerry device.
